When you book a crawl or contact us, we collect:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe — we never store full card details on our servers
• Booking details (date, group size, dietary or drink preferences you share with us)
• Communications you send via WhatsApp, email, or the website
• Anonymous analytics (page views, device type, approximate location) via standard web technologies

2. How We Use Your Information

• To confirm and manage your booking
• To send pre-event reminders and post-event follow-ups
• To send you the WhatsApp group invite for your crawl night
• To respond to questions and provide customer support
• To improve our service, marketing, and website experience
• To comply with legal and tax obligations in Colombia

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — to process your payment securely
• Twilio / WhatsApp Business API — to send booking confirmations and reminders
• Supabase & Vercel — our hosting and database providers (data stored encrypted at rest and in transit)
• Authorities, only when legally required

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal cookies for session management (so you stay logged in), affiliate tracking (if you arrive via a referral link), and aggregate analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some site functions may not work.

5. Your Rights

Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Personal Data Protection) and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

We keep booking and transaction records for as long as required by Colombian tax and accounting law (typically 5 years). Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.2+) for all data in transit, and our database is hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest. Payment data never touches our servers — it goes directly to Stripe.

8. Children

Our experiences are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via email or WhatsApp to recent customers.
